The Leisure Marine Association's Objectives are:

  • To promote, protect and advance the interests of its Members and that of the Leisure Marine industry.
  • To promote the cooperation, education and raise standards of the Leisure Marine industry.
  • To promote the exchange of information between companies involved in the Leisure Marine industry.
  • To provide leadership for and be the voice of the Leisure Marine industry on all matters of significance to the marine industry.
  • To work with, advise and assist governments, public authorities, trade industries and associations in respect of matters of interest to the Leisure Marine industry.
  • To inform and advise the Leisure Marine industry of government policies and actions and other matters affecting their interests and take appropriate action.
  • Provide a channel for the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experience dealing with the promotion of the Leisure Marine industry.
  • To encourage safety with watercraft and persons involved in leisure boating.
