- Sunreef Yachts (SY) is a brand from Poland, a creator of luxury catamarans. Established over 20 years ago, the company builds sustainable catamarans equipped in green technology solutions.
- SY is now a global brand with worldwide clientele. The Ambassadors (and clients at the same time) include Rafael Nadal, Fernando Alonso or Nico Rosberg. At present, over 300 catamarans manufactured by SY sails on the international waters. SY is now focused on the Asia-Pacific expansion including regional and international projects.
- SY is a pioneer in eco-yachting industry. Creator of industry-first solar panels, user of eco fabrics and promotor of hydrogen usage in the catamaran’s propulsion. SY exhibited at COP28 in Dubai with a model of eco-catamaran and took part in the 2 speaking panels on sustainability (the only yachting company in the event).
- In 2022, SY officially inaugurated the company’s new Dubai office. It is located on the Palm Jumeirah and it gathers an international team of professionals including sales representatives, designers, engineers, architects and marketing department.
- In 2022, SY entered into cooperation with RAK Maritime City for the development of a new facility in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK Maritime City Free Zone Authority). Developed on a 65 000m2 land reserve, the new facility incorporates the latest technologies in luxury yacht building. The first units to be produced in Ras Al Khaimah will be the hybrid 55 Open Sunreef Power as well as power and sail yachts ranging from 50 to 70 feet. The official opening of the facility took place in March 2024 and was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The guest of honour was President of Poland and Nobel Peace Price Laureate HE Lech Walesa.
- In 2023, SY as an Emirati establishment took part in the the UAE Ministerial Mission to Poland under the lead of Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy and exhibited as a successful example of foreign investment in the UAE in ‘Make it in the Emirates’ in Abu Dhabi. SY was part of Expo 2020 Dubai (under Poland Pavilion).
- SY has a media ‘face’. Sky News Arabia in the program called My Planet/كوكبناshowcased SY as an example of sustainability in yachting. Additionally coverage has been given locally by Abu Dhabi Media, The Dubai Eye, The National, Al Bayan, Dubai TV and the international media like CNN, RAI Sport, Forbes or Bloomberg etc.
