Marco Caporilli is the Owner of MCa Associates, a consultancy engaged in the design of coastal and marina projects.
Marco attained a degree in civil engineering and went on to obtain a masters in coastal engineering from Imperial College in London in 1988.
His early career was working in London on sea defence and coastal protection projects in the UK.
In early 1992 he had his first taste of designing mega marine projects in the Middle East working on Ras Laffan Port in Qatar, followed by waterfront designs in Kuwait from 1994.
He moved to the UAE in 1997 and has been working on the design of waterfront projects and marinas in the Gulf Region ever since.
